We had a great stay here. The free breakfast and dinner is definitely a positive. Room was clean, and we could get a pull away bed for our third child. My only complaint is that over the phone I was told that the indoor/outdoor pool was heated. But it most definitely was not, though they do have an indoor hot tub.
We we were pulling a small camper and staff were helpful in allowing us to drop the trailer in the parking lot while we visited downtown. We felt we received great value for the room cost.
This is a newer hotel, so it is still in pristine physical condition. It is in a good location too -- at the intersection of two main highways. The overall experience was just excellent. We were met with a very friendly greeting when we checked in, and the room was very nice. The breakfast was very good -- with food that seemed to have actually been cooked there. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, waffles, muffins, oatmeal, potatoes, eggs...you get the picture. Lots to choose from. They had a happy hour each evening and offered two free drinks to everyone. The bar menu was limited, but what do you expect? Not an issue. The thing that *really* stands out though is the great attitude of the people that worked there. Everyone was smiling and friendly. I really admired the hotel manager's attitude too -- he was visiting with the guests, busing tables and sweeping the floors during breakfast. Just a great example that surely set the tone for everyone working there. I will make it a point to book at Drury Inns in the future based on this experience.
Clean. Decent breakfast. Two bed room had double beds - not queens. Four pillows on each bed - all cheap "feather" pillows. Why can't hotels that put four pillows on the bed use two foam and two feathers? That would cover everybody's tastes!
Nice place to stay while visiting St Louis. Convenient to many areas, safe parking, room nicely appointed. Happy Hour treats were nicely prepared and generous, as was breakfast. Pool area was pleasant - our two grandchildren swam for hours while we relaxed too.
The main lobby was very clean and appealing to look at. The furniture looked comfortable, and the place seemed inviting. The desk attendant was very friendly, helpful, and professional. It was a very good experience. I also enjoyed the television in the lobby that had the news on. I don't get to watch much news in my busy day, and it was nice to catch up on some things in the world while I was waiting.
