Used to love this place. The waitress could have cared less. The food was cold when we finally got it. I will not return.
Normally great food and service but not last night. Went with a party and practically everyone's order was either cold, burned, missing side that come with the meal, or their order was completely wrong. And when we asked for the manager he refused to come over. I have never felt compelled to write a negative review ever. And apparently several parties had complaints too. Drinks were great though.
We were there as a large group for a happy hour.
First off, I have never been to Houlihan's but a party of us decided to go to celebrate conquering a long semester of classes. We stepped inside the place, and asked was it too late for the happy hour. The young man at the door said with an attitude like "Yeah. It. Is". I was immediately turned off and was already enticed by buffalo wild wings but we decided to give it a chance and we sat down. Table was dirty but the host cleaned it off (and did a piss poor job of it). So we glanced at the menu and ordered. Every piece of food that was brought out looked like it was fried in old grease and tasted even worse. The only positive about this experience and the only reason why this place gets any kind of rating is that the server or waitress bust her ASS to serve us and I really appreciate it. Overall, I will never step inside another Houlihan's probably ever again.
The food was good, and the service was great!
Lunch date. I was pretty hungry so I ordered a steak medium well which came out rare. I sent it back, and it returned about a minute later, well-done. It was obvious that they microwaved it and it tasted like it too. All in all, the steak was inedible. The saving grace about this visit was the exceptional service from my waitress.
